Its butted-seam barrel has a funnel-shaped design that makes it easy to thread stripped wires through without bending or catching, and its rigid-molded polyvinyl chloride sleeve helps relieve mechanical stress. The blue vinyl sleeve is abrasion-resistant and flared for easy crimping, and the terminal is made of electrolytic copper coated in tin to protect against corrosion.
