Switched Enclosure for Use with 3 pole 4 wire 30A Twist-Lock Receptacle. (sold separately)

The Switched Twist-Lock® and Hubbellock® Enclosures integrate a receptacle and a switch to produce distinct advantages for the user. This enclosure replaces box, switch, cover and all in a compact design that meets Type 3R Rainproof or 12K Dust-tight requirements. The receptacle is angled downward for a low profile, and it maintains a low profile while accommodating either a 20 or 30 Amp Twist-Lock receptacle or 30 Amp, 4 wire Hubbellock receptacle. The enclosure can be used in top, bottom or back feed applications. The handle is designed to be locked in the OFF position for lockout protection. Hubbell has developed the Switched Safety Enclosure because users want to be able to disconnect higher voltage devices confidently. Hubbell responded with a line of Switched Safety Enclosures for Twist-Lock and Hubbellock receptacles. The provision of the integral switch and the receptacle in a compact, non-metallic enclosure encourages the safe operating practice of disconnecting at the switch rather than the plug and receptacle.
