ProfiBus-DP Adapter. ProfiBus is an open serial communication standard that enables data exchange between automation components. The transmission medium of the bus is a twisted pair cable (according to RS-485 standard). The maximum length of the bus cable is 100 to 1200 meters, depending on the transmission rate. The R-series RPBA-01 adapter module supports PROFIBUS DP-V0 and DP-V1 communication. The RPBA-01 automatically detects the telegram type used and supports PPO messages 1 to 6. Communication profiles: PROFIdrive and ABB drives profile are supported.
