This bus drop safety spring has a load capacity of 80 LB and a breaking strength of 850 LB. The spring also has a maximum deflection of 3-1/8 IN and 8-1/4 IN in overall length. These springs are used with the bus drop grips to relieve sudden strain on cord or cable overhead systems. These safety springs can be used with single eye type grips by disassembling the drawbar from the coil, placing it through the eye and replacing the drawbar.
