Grade 5 Hex Nuts are manufactured from carbon steel and are used to connect both metal and wood components. They are intended to be used in conjunction with bolts, screws, studs, threaded rod and any other fastener that has machine screw threads. Typical applications for Grade 5 Hex Nuts include scenarios where medium strength of 120,000 psi is required. They are manufactured to the SAE J995-2017 standard.
