Well Pleased
Though the cost is higher than other comparable fluorescent fixtures, this fixture offers performance that exceeds that of the fluorescent fixtures they replaced. They are a bit brighter (I bought the 50W version) than the replaced fixtures. Not bright enough to be annoying or uncomfortable, but a blessing to me, a member of the 50+ club. The power savings goes without saying, but one thing that I was not expecting was the response these fixtures give in a cold environment. When energized, these fixtures do not flicker or glow dimly as the fluorescent fixtures that have yet to be replaced do in the same area. I enjoy that I have full illumination immediately, rather than waiting for the fixtures to warm. As for life I do not know, but I have logged thousands of hours on the fixtures and I have yet to have one fail. If you can handle the price, these are a good improvement over comparable fluorescent fixtures.
